they , too , play an important role in the global economy. the stock market , above all , is place where business is done. commercial organisations and companies who want to raise capital offer their stock to members of the public and institutional investors. in this way , they obtain money needed for expansion. on the other hand , investors can sell at  any time , but only the wise investor knows when to buy and when to sell. the prices of stock rise or fall according to supply and demand . when the market goes up , it is called bullish ; when it goes down , it is bearish . the combined efforts of buyers and sellers help to establish an economic environment that creates wealth , jobs and a higher standard of living.

en su nivel mas simple , un mercado de valores es el "mercado" en acciones y participaciones se compran y venden .la mas famosa es problamente la bolsa de nueva york , en wall street , nueva york. otros mercados de valores bien conocidos son londres , tokio y hong kong , por citar solo tres.
